Buying a caravan or a motorhome can be a big financial commitment. You need to be confident that the outfit you are buying is legal, safe and dry. Caravan Medic East Anglia provides a pre-purchase inspection service to give you piece of mind about your intended purchase. The seller’s permission is required for a pre-purchase inspection. A genuine seller will not have a problem with this as they have nothing to hide. If permission is refused then this is probably good reason enough to not proceed with the purchase.
Our pre-purchase inspection service will provide you with a report on the condition of the caravan or habitation part of the motor home you are thinking of buying. As outfits can range from under £5000 to over £30,000 we can provide a report that is commensurate with your proposed purchase.
This is a basic inspection of road worthiness aimed at establishing if the caravan can be towed away safely should you decide to buy it. The following areas will be inspected with a report on the points shown:
– Parking brake – overrun actuation and recoil
